Why would you be interested in what I have to say?

Well, why would you?

As I sit here writing my first post, my head is filled with nothing but doubt, uncertainty, and a large amount of excitement. My neighbors are blaring rap music, while my roommate is glued to an episode of Grey’s Anatomy. I, however, am burrowed in my white duvet imagining a place where I can document my thoughts.

As a newly turned 21-year-old, I have started to think about my future. The more I rack my brain trying to figure out what I would like to do with my life, the more my mind wants to shut down. Anyone else?

I feel as though I am surrounded by the most talented and intelligent student body that know exactly what path they would like to take in life. Although I am gifted with certain talents, I am burdened with thoughts that scream to me there is no one certain path that I have been destined to take.

So, here I am, trying to navigate the remainder of my college life and the rest of my adult life for that matter. If you’re interested in what an average 21-year-old college student living out-of-state in Oregon has to say, stick with me. We may have more in common than you think.

Until next time,
